Bolu Mountain tunnel to open in December

Bosporus shipping traffic is suspended

A freighter ran into a pontoon being used to construct a tunnel under the Bosporus on Wednesday. Shipping traffic will be suspended until the ship is freed.

Istanbul taxi fares to increase by 15%

Taxi and shared taxi (dolmus) fares in Istanbul will be increased by 15 percent on December 1. The base fare for Taxis will be raised from 1.50 TRY to 1.73 TRY.
