Turkish tollbooth workers slowdown traffic

Highway and bridge tollbooth workers have slowed down their pace in protest of some problems. Causing horrible traffic jams especially on Istanbul’s FSM bridge.

Vodafone-Turkey adds 1 million customers in first quarter

Explosion at Turkish hotel kills one

An LPG tank explodes at a five-star hotel in the resort town of Belek near Antalya Thursday. The explosion killed one and injured ten, including five tourists.

Fog on Bolu Mountain cuts visibility

A Thick fog on Bolu Mountain Tuesday morning slows traffic down considerably. Visibility on the mountain is only 20 meters in some areas.

Airplane skids off runway in Istanbul

An Afgan airplane skids off the runway at Istanbul’s Ataturk airport Friday. Passengers evacuated the plane by emergency slides and no injuries were reported.
