WordPress blocked in Turkey

Turkish court rules to block all wordpress pages. The site was blocked because Adnan Oktar complained that some blogs have made unlawful statements about him.

Gul is elected Turkey’s 11th president

Abdullah Gul is elected Turkey’s eleventh president by parliament Tuesday afternoon. He won the election in the third round with 339 votes.

Turkish airliner hijacked over the weekend

A Turkish airliner was hijacked in Northern Cyprus Saturday. The plane made an emergency landing in Antalya and after 5 hours of negotiations the hijackers surrendered.

Erdogan submits his list of new cabinent members
