Voting to start for Turkey’s next speaker of parliament

Turkey’s Grand National Assembly will meet Thursday to vote for the next speaker of parliament. There are three candidates running, one from AKP, MHP and an independent.

MHP to re-enter parliament after 4 year absence

The Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) will re-enter parliament after a 4.5 year absence and will not boycott parliament during the next presidential vote.
